Static Guards


All operatives used for static security guards are highly trained and fully SIA licensed. In addition to static security guards First National can provide mobile patrols, most services are available either on a permanent or temporary basis. If required static security guards can be provided at short notice for periods of high risk. All operatives employed for security guarding are screened in compliance with the SITO (Security Industry Training Organization) screening and vetting procedures by SITO certified staff. We offer flexible solutions for a range of different industries, whether you require static security guards for: retail security, site security or commercial security we will bespoke your security guarding package to meet your individual requirements.
Whether you choose a part or full time static security guard it is up to you. It may be that you need a static security guard only for the time when your company is closed. It could be that you need just need security cover for busy peak periods or a 24 hour guard post. First National can offer static security guards around the clock, when ever you need them.

Our fully trained guards are provided with experience of working on a variety of sites. These can vary a great deal from Government Establishments to large Office Premises or Country Homes. Having visited the site for Risk Assessment plus Health & Safety matters, we then write the 'Site Instructions', which will be specific for that particular site. These will assist the officer, not only in the general duties they are required to perform at that site, but also in being prepared for any eventuality which may arise.
Wherever possible the managers will select the officer they feel will be most suited for that particular site. The officer will receive on-site training, and will also be required to carry out the relevant patrols and checks to ensure that the property remains secure. As well as the protection of property, the officers will also deal with problems arising from fire, flood and accidental damage.
There is also the strict requirement for the officer to book on and off duty, as well as making hourly check calls with the 24 hour Control Room. They are also required to complete an assignment log for each tour of duty. The assignment log remains on site for viewing by the client. We are one of the only companies who have visits to site by a Mobile Supervisor.
